
This is an inverted color (negative) of a scanned image. The image was mirrored to produce a panel with a repeating pattern from a single drawing. It will be used for sidebars and backgrounds on darker web pages yet to be launched. This actual image was done before Katrina and was saved along with many other images which were created as derivative art from original artworks. The file was recovered from CD's which survived the hurricane.
The drawing was done with Gel ink which I am quite fond of. The original image used to make the background page :
