Perpetual mode

The first place score was achieved by starting on level 29 and taking advantage of having a fresh supply of bombs and starter points.
The second place score was achieved by starting at level 20.
The third place score started at level 1 and is one of the few honest high scores here I got to this level by making it past level 14 without using bombs.
The 5th place score was painful to achieve because I was just getting the hang of the "puzzle and strategy" of the game.
Teaches you to:
More information
There is a transition when your levels reach over 100
extra bombs aren't given
the amount of points given is a whole lot less than what you would get if you had completed all the other levels
More start points are given when you begin at a higher level.
It is much harder to make it past each level.
I decided to play a few games on the normal setting instead of easy, so you know I'm not a total game wimp. Most times my schedule is too busy to get intensely involved in a game. I have a preference for games that you can play on a break and save your progress. I also like games that let me play my own music on my system while playing.
The music in this game is fine and it is not necesarry for me to have other music playing in order to enjoy this game. It's alright to just turn it on anknow that I will enjoy it just the way it came.
I like the puzzle aspect of games and actually prefer playing a game that is not time based - and instead have a "no clock" setting for strategy. For that reason you will see higher scores on my perpetual mode than on my action mode.
"No clock" modes are good for children. It good for parents because you have to deal with your child's dissappointment. This game allows you to try the level over as many times as you want. And again it will save your child's progress.
Even though Action mode is time based I like it better than Perpetual mode... in terms of fun. In action mode each of the levels are designed differently and require a different approach to clear away the board. There are a set number of balls, marbles or bubbles. The top level of the screen lowers with time. The rows approach the botom of the screen and you must clear all the balls before the balls reach the bottom. So, if I like it better, why am I at level 10 on action mode and on level 228 in perpectual mode? I said it was more fun, I didn't say I was very good at it.
Action mode is time based with more variety. So, you need to go in prepared for a challenge of taking a different approach with each screen level. Have a little time carved away on the side to get in there and meet the challenge. When taking 5-15 minute breaks to relax - action mode isn't the way to go. Plus, the chances that I would have gotten to high enough levels for my tips to really mean anything, would have taken up a weekend, or week, or maybe a month on action mode - who knows. When I do leisure playing and make progress I will post the scores and notes for "action mode."
For now the high score for Action Mode by debraford123 stands at 669,303 on level 10.
The perpetual mode high score for debraford123 at the end of August 2006 is 38,574,693.
In order to bring continued news and tips on many different games the scores will remain at this level for a while.
Playing for evaluation
is a little different than the way you will approach the game so I know that you can beat my scores. Most games are not over when you're done.
If you haven't replaced all the original scores that were on the game when you first got it, then you really haven't beaten the game. If you can't beat your won scores then you haven't improved.
Life is about challenges and growth. Knowing when to push forward and when to move on is something we each must learn.
Effort will be made to designate a method of exchange so that visitors to www.debraford123.com/debwebgames can submit their scores screen shots. Screen shots of actual games will not be posted, only the scores.
I actually spend more time doing testing and reviews than actual game play.
I will do an extended review on Super Pop and Drop. It has been a long time favorite of mine and is now a part of my personal full game libray.
